In the Materials and Methods section of the article beginning on page 1004 in the November 2019 issue, in the subsection Study Design there is written: “During the first study session, volunteers received dexmedetomidine administered using target-controlled infusion with stepwise increasing effect site target concentrations of 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 ng/ml dexmedetomidine.” Instead, this should be: “… 1, 3, 4, 5, and 8 ng/ml dexmedetomidine.” The correct values were used for analysis and as such, this error did not affect any results.
The authors regret the error. The online version and PDF of the article have been corrected.
