An analytical propofol assay inaccuracy was discovered after initial studies on the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics and tolerability of fospropofol had been published. This assay inaccuracy makes the measured propofol plasma concentrations in the following previously published studies unreliable, and therefore these articles are retracted in their entirety:
