In the Original Investigation article titled “Cognitive Decline after Delirium in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Surgery” published in the September 2018 issue, the authors discovered that they did not follow the statistical plan for calculation of the cognitive Z scores as described in the article, resulting in errors in the calculated Z scores at the follow-up time points. As a result, the outcomes of the primary and secondary aims are similar to those in the original article but have led to changes in the body of the article and in the tables and figures.

The authors regret these errors. The online version and PDF of the article have been corrected, and an additional online supplement has been added that includes a version of the original article with the errors highlighted and a version of the corrected article with the corrections highlighted.
