The American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) met in July 2013 and re-elected J. Jeffrey Andrews, M.D., Deborah J. Culley, M.D., and James P. Rathmell, M.D. to terms that commenced at the conclusion of the ABA Board meeting in fall 2013. The ABA Board of Directors also elected Thomas M. McLoughlin, Jr., M.D., and his initial term commenced at the conclusion of the fall 2013 ABA Board meeting.
The current terms of Santhanam Suresh, M.D. and David O. Warner, M.D. as ABA Directors conclude in fall 2014. Dr. Suresh and Dr. Warner are eligible for re-election. In accordance with the policy of the Joint Committee of the ABA-ASA-AMA, any ABA Diplomate who is currently an ABA Associate Examiner may be nominated for an ABA directorate.
