For better or worse, our lives are inextricably linked with information technology (IT). As the feature articles in this issue of the NEWSLETTER indicate, at its best, IT dramatically increases our productivity and opens doors to limitless possibilities for improving the way we work and live. On the other hand, certain technologies can be distracting and require sometimes-prohibitive amounts of effort and time to effectively utilize.
