After the recent ASA website redesign, the Committee on Quality Management and Departmental Administration (QMDA) and ASA’s Quality and Regulatory Affairs (QRA) Department were tasked with updating the Quality Improvement section of the ASA website. QMDA and QRA redesigned the site with a focus on both increasing user-friendliness and highlighting the existing resources offered by QMDA and QRA. For many years, QMDA has supplied valuable member resources on the Quality Improvement website, and QMDA and QRA worked to make these resources more easily available to members.

The QMDA Toolkit was created to assist members navigating The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory surveys. Initially titled “The Joint Commission Toolkit,” the toolkit provided answers to FAQs and resources for accreditation issues.
