For my first Administrative Update, I chose to collaborate with Mr. Brian Reilly, ASA’s recently installed Chief Digital Strategy Officer, for his technical expertise. His title, duties and previous background at Crain Communications are commensurate with the direction your leadership has recognized as an increasingly important component to continuing the improvement of the ASA member experience. This enormous undertaking and focus does and will permeate every aspect of ASA’s mission and vision for the future. Regardless, whether products and services are in education, advocacy, internal governance, practice management, public relations, patient safety or promotion of research, the ability to communicate across a diverse and growing member demographic will be critically linked to our digital presence. It will provide the bedrock for our continued success as a member-driven organization. So, how do we get there?
