The current COVID-19 pandemic has created multiple challenges for health care and society. Anesthesiologists have risen to the challenge to serve our patients and communities. Neuroanesthesiologists and neurointensivists have played an important role in the response to the pandemic given neurological manifestations of COVID-19 and the need for continued care of patients with neurological conditions. SNACC is faced with multiple unforeseen challenges just like other organizations. However, our motto has been to deal wisely with the short-term challenges while focusing on our long-term vision. SNACC has continuously looked for opportunity in adversity.
