This year’s PRACTICE MANAGEMENT meeting in Las Vegas was a tremendous success. Clinicians, administrators, and leaders from all around the country convened to discuss and learn about key issues affecting the practice of anesthesiology and its business.

In the touchpoint series titled “Culture, Engagement and Operations: Tying It All Together,” we sought to connect audience members in an interactive forum to share challenges and solutions specific to culture and engagement. The winds of change in health care are stronger than ever, and creating a culture of engaged providers has never been more critical to our continued success.

The session kicked off with a general discussion about burnout, culture, and leadership led by Dr. Vender. Culture serves as the backbone of any organization or department.
