The Component Society Recognition Program was created to recognize excellence and continuous improvement in component society programs and to ensure alignment with ASA strategic objectives. Now in its third year, the goals of the program remain the same: to promote and grow member engagement opportunities, recognize innovation, and benchmark successful programs that benefit members through the effective partnering of ASA and our component societies to elevate the standards of member value.

This year, six component societies submitted their projects in categories ranging from advocacy to member engagement to leadership and development. Components were grouped by size, and submissions were received in the large and very-large categories. Applications were carefully reviewed by a workgroup of component society executive directors and members of the Committee on Membership.
