Vigilance is a key feature of ASA's official seal. The stars in the seal represent constant and eternal vigilance. Vigilance includes monitoring – a basic part of anesthesia care. Just consider the title of the publication you are currently reading. Continual monitoring is necessary in the care of your patients – and your practices. Good practice care requires learning about new payment models that are based on value rather than volume. It requires knowing the multitude of requirements within the No Surprises Act. These are only two examples. You must stay informed and up to date as, so much is changing and evolving at an ever-increasing pace. Taking care of a practice requires a 360-degree scan.
