In 2022, ASA's Industry Supporter program brought in over $1.4 million in unrestricted revenue to support vital ASA initiatives. The support we receive from corporate partners buoys a range of ASA priorities, such as the Perioperative Brain Health Initiative (PBHI) and our opioid initiatives. This investment also supports the work ASA does to enhance the health and well-being of anesthesiologists through the work of multiple committees, including the Committee on Physician Well-Being and the Committee on Occupational Health. Work includes focus on health care provider death by suicide and substance use disorders (SUDs). ASA tackles these important, overlapping topics by convening key stakeholders, collating critical information, sharing valuable resources with membership, and more. With the investments ASA takes in from corporate partners, we can do more and do it better.
