About ASA Monitor

The official news publication of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the ASA Monitor delivers the latest specialty and industry news, and practice-changing clinical information to the perioperative health care community.

The ASA Monitor is committed to delivering and promoting news that strengthens diversity, equity, and inclusivity within the anesthesiology and wider perioperative health care communities. We actively seek a variety of voices in our publications to enable honest and diverse perspectives. The ASA Monitor’s evidence-based reporting challenges prejudice, celebrates differing viewpoints, and encourages dialogue. We are proud to be the primary communications vehicle through which ASA members are apprised of the society’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
