Results are shown as  box plots with medians represented by  horizontal lines with the 75th percentiles at the top and the 25th percentiles at the bottom (90% percentiles are given as  whiskers ). Median intensities of phantom pain (  top ) were 1.5 (range, 0–9.0)  versus 1.2 (range, 0–6.6) (  P = 0.60) and 1.0 (range, 0–6.0)  versus 0.5 (range, 0–5.0) (  P = 0.77) after 30 days and 6 months, respectively (gabapentin  vs. placebo). Median intensities of stump pain (bottom) were 0.85 (range, 0–8.2)  versus 1.0 (range, 0–5.4) (  P = 0.68) and 0 (range, 0–8.0)  versus 0 (range, 0–5.0) (  P = 0.58).
