Artifacts among all values and among deviating and nondeviating values. The percentage of artifacts was lowest for heart rate (0.5%) and oxygen saturation measured by pulse oximetry (Spo₂; 1.3%). For mean noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP), the artifact incidence was 5.0%. Mean invasive blood pressure (IBP; 7.3%) and end-tidal carbon dioxide (ETco₂; 7.5%) showed higher incidences of artifacts. Deviating values (D) were more often artifacts than nondeviating values (ND), which was statistically significant for all vital parameters (marked by asterisks).
