Data are mean ± SD. Data are mean intraoperative measured blood propofol and blood remifentanil concentration, Bispectral Index, spectral edge frequency, systolic and diastolic blood pressures and heart rate. Data were compared between groups using the Kruskal-Wallis test with a post hoc  Mann–Whitney U test for pairwise group comparison, if appropriate.

* In 3 of 29 patients, the data set for intraoperative stimuli did not allow modeling. These patients are therefore not included in this table.
