Effects of acute administration of SS-31 on established oxaliplatin-induced neuropathic symptoms. Effect on cold hypersensitivity was examined in mice given a single dose of oxaliplatin (15 mg/kg) and tested 4 days after the injection. The 15°C-cold plate test was performed before and 1, 2, 4, and 6 h after subcutaneous administration of SS-31 (10 mg/kg) (n = 7) or vehicle (n = 5). Data were given as the mean ± SEM and analyzed by two-way ANOVA (group effect: P = 0.021; time effect: P < 0.001) followed by Bonferroni multiple comparison tests.
