Comparison of patient satisfaction between the control group (blue) and the magnesium group (red). Patient satisfaction was assessed on a seven-point Likert scale (1 = strongly dissatisfied, 2 = moderately dissatisfied, 3 = slightly dissatisfied, 4 = neutral, 5 = slightly satisfied, 6 = moderately satisfied, and 7 = extremely satisfied) at 6 h postoperatively. The control group included patients who received intravenous normal saline as control. The magnesium group included patients who received intravenous magnesium.
